Sponsorship of a Supreme Evening 2019

Your generous support of this event allows the Society to take an even more active role in honoring and fulfilling the need to preserve the rich history of the Florida Supreme Court. Your tax deductible contribution makes possible the activities and projects that are critical to carrying out our mission.

Highlights of a Supreme Evening 2019 include:

  • The keynote speaker will be the former U.S. Solicitor General Theodore "Ted" Olson, who is considered one of the country’s most high-profile and widely respected litigators,
  • Welcoming of the three incoming Supreme Court Justices,
  • Chief Justice Charles Canady’s update on the State of the Court; and,
  • The master of ceremonies  for the evening, Hank Coxe will ensure we are adjourned by 9:15 PM.
  • For out-of-town guests, the details on local hotel accommodations are listed below or at 2019 Hotel & Directions.

This annual dinner event is our main fundraising effort of the year, which enables the Historical Society to carry out its mission of educating the public about the critically important work of the courts in protecting personal rights and freedoms.

The Board of Trustees sincerely thanks you for sponsoring the Supreme Evening, which promises to be another outstanding event. The many benefits in being a sponsor of this annual dinner event are listed above.

The following options are available for sponsors this year, as well:.
  • The option of a receipt for the tax year 2018 or tax year 2019 for the portion of the sponsorship that may be tax-deductible as a charitable contribution.
  • The additional option to donate some or all of your sponsored seats. If you are not planning to use all of the seats in your sponsorship, consider donating them to the Historical Society to share with members of the Court, legal aid attorneys, volunteering law students, and members of the Supreme Court staff.
  • A FSCHS staff member will reach out to the primary contact you designate for this event, to confirm name and details for publication of your sponsorship.
