2015 Historical Society Annual Dinner

  • Sponsors prepaid for Dinner Registrations of a limited number individuals employed full time with a non-profit Legal Service Organization. Contact FSCHS for details.

Highlights of the 2015 Annual Dinner include; 

  • Presenting the Lifetime Achievement Award to Talbot “Sandy” D’Alemberte;
  • The first public unveiling of the Historical Society commissioned portraits of four Justices;   
  • Pulitzer Prize author & talented speaker Gilbert King, author of "Devil in the Grove:Thurgood Marshall, the Groveland Boys, and the Dawn of a New America,” ;
  • Chief Justice Jorge Labarga’s update on the State of the Court; and,
  • Hank Coxe, will be the master of ceremonies for evening, and will assure we are adjourned by 9 PM.

The doors open at 5:30pm with a cocktail reception on the first floor the University Center Club Dinner starts at 7:00pm followed by the unveiling of the portraits of the Justices, the award presentation  and keynote address by Gilbert King.

The evening’s recommended attire:   Business /Cocktail

Individual advanced priced tickets are $95 on or before January 10, 2015.           Individual priced tickets are $115 after January 21, 2014 and $135  at the door.

This Annual Dinner the main fund raising effort of the year for the Historical Society to carry out our mission to educate the public about the critically important work of the courts in protecting personal rights and freedoms.
